Wind Direction: ENE
Wind Stength: 18-24 knots
Surf / Sea State: Flat
Air Temperature: 24ºC
Sea Temperature: 17ºC
Weather: Sunny
Max Speed:
Distance Covered:

After a hot and sticky day at work, it was straight back to the estuary to cool off in the water. the wind was still blowing and conditions were pretty much exactly the same as yesterday... As good as it gets anywhere on flat water with an insane speed run along the edge of the sand bar.

I was out on my own to start with, then mark and the same guy as yesterday joined me from Aberdovey side, and Tim came out kiting from Ynyslas. rupert also came over with his kite from Aberdovey. Good session of drag racing up and down the speed strip. I tired a few duck gybes and 360's today as well, and got pretty close to the duck gybes on occasion. The other were out on 5m sails again, but the heat seems pretty reluctant to get going, so I was well-powered with the 5.7m.

Perfect sunshine, perfect conditions and just the right number of people out. Still only 4 stars though as its not the same as being on the waves however fast you go!
